Happy
National Coming Out Day!! :D
The past few days, since I haven't been updating:
Sunday - Went to church (haha, and my parents didn't trust me to actually show up and serve since they and Matt went to Houston without me and Rachel... see, I fulfill my obligations!). I've joined a Sunday school class for the first time in my adult life because the topic is homosexuality and Christianity, or something like that. I'm the only female and am at least 20 years younger than everyone else. >.< But it's cool, I guess. Oh! And I saw
scream_selfless for the first time in like FOREVER, which was completely awesome. Yay for catching up with old friends! :D We need to go have coffee or something sometime.
And then I came home and bummed around, and then I went to Half-Price because I was bored and in a mood to spend money. I walked around and searched through books for like an hour, as I got the idea in my head at one point that I wanted mythology and fairy tale books, but conscience eventually kicked in. Also, all those tall, largely unorganized shelves that threaten to swallow me whole were starting to be intimidating. So I ended up just buying a copy of
A Life Less Ordinary for a little over $6, since it was literally the only Ewan movie in the DVDs and one that I'd been particularly wanting to see. I haven't watched it all the way through because I fell asleep (it wasn't boring, I was just exhausted), but what I've seen of it is good... and yay Scottish accent that I totally wasn't expecting. It's the little things.... :D
Monday - Slept in, then went home for a bit to do laundry and was spectacularly unproductive otherwise. Bleh. But I have clean sheets and towels now! Yay! I know there was something else I meant to post about for yesterday, but I can't remember and I have about a frillion things to accomplish, so, moving on.
Today (Tuesday) - Have been trying to simultaneously read my colonial witch book, work on the NCOD board for tomorrow, and write my fairy tale for Thursday. I'm making loads of progress, but none of them are getting anywhere near completed. So I'm not sure if this kind of multitasking makes me more or less productive... it is, however, driving me absolutely mad, which is why I'm now taking a complete timeout to write this post. I also had to call the insurance guy back today and make a 'statement' about what happened, and I'm sure he now thinks I'm a complete ditz, but whatever, that's done and over with at least for now.
Susan! Who was that guy, that author you told me near the beginning of the semester that I had to read or else? I keep trying to think of his name, but all I can remember is that we had been talking about HP right before that, and I think you said his books were on a related theme or something, but I don't know and I'm driving myself crazy. please help. argh.
