My dad recently bought a soybean milk machine, and it kinda does wonders.
Just need to soak yellow beans & corn the night before, chuck it into the flask-like thing with a bit of water, and voila.
The machine starts blending and out comes super smooth, super healthy soybean milk.
Without preservatives or sugar. \m/
Anyhow, I led some Indonesian high school kiddos on a tour yesterday from 8-10.30 in the morning.
Then sat at ReStore cafe for like almost 4 hours just chatting with Mr President,
and had this most freshly baked but very expensive bagel with cream cheese for brunch.
Went for driving and my driver banged his head on the glove compartment to indicate his frustration when I couldn't do the sharp turn :(
I think I shouldn't be allowed to be a hazard on the roads. Hahahaha.. zzz.
Anyhow, Jac today shared with the other Jac and I about how hard it is to find someone who suited our positions. Research, reading, writing, but yet like to meet people. Made us feel awesome. :) Bonded slightly over lunch with SK&R as well :D And yes, till now I still don't know how to explain our jobs. We're supposed to be consultants, actually, and help manage an organisation for people who know nothing about Asian culture and how we communicate. Whatever it is, today was pretty groundbreaking. And so was my smoked salmon sandwich :D
This may look stupid but I'm so gonna go on a search for one of these. Been drinking so much tea in the office and can't refill them when I stay at my desk for too long.
Forgot to take pictures of the meal I cooked on Sunday, but I think I'm better off with garlic & pepper salmon. Broccoli + mushrooms were goody. Problem though, MY HANDS STILL SMELL LIKE GARLIC.
Looking forward to tomorrow at work. :)
