Mother's Day
Today Alice and I took Mum out as our present for her from Mother's Day last Sunday. We were going to go to the botanical gardens cafe, but instead went to Freestyle Tout in Rosalie, which frankly has the most amazing deserts known to mankind. I am so so full of deliciousness! Afterwards we drove over to the botanical gardens and walked around for a little bit (Mum's foot is still a bit sore from her operation). We had a really really lovely day! Made more important by the fact that Alice leaves for the States in just over two weeks!!!! So it was nice to have some girly time!
The cafe has crazy paintings and scultptures for sale (you can see behind me), and big bunches of flowers to buy (behind Alice). i love the way the place feels, its really cruisy and delicious. We all got icecream things... the cakes are delicious but there is really no competition.

Tonight Brendan is taking me out to dinner for our anniversary. Yay! Now I just have to decide if we are having Italian or Spanish.....
