It's been a while since I've posted, but here is what I have been up to! Firstly, for the upcoming Wai-con, I got a proper banner/signage made!
It's big enough for the table, and looks so cool! I used
VistaPrint and ordered this - I also ordered some grommets, these things you attach at the corners to help hang this up, but they had forgotten it! Fortunately, I was able to contact them easily, and got them to send me it with no extra charge. Thank goodness I ordered this quite a bit before Wai-con no? They're usually really good with orders, I've gotten my business cards from them before with no issues - I guess grommets are really easy to overlook.
Some things I got at the shops! From the top, some glass jars, and ribbon, and then from the bottom left across - a comparison of these new, larger glass jars to my smaller glass jars, and - CUPCAKE COOKIE CUTTERS! So adorable! I want to try them out so badly! And strangely enough, bought them at the post office XD
You're probably wondering what all those colourful rubbery looking things are - they're molds I have made of my own charms, using Oyumaru! A reusable plastic thing . . . but, I finally got around to organising them all in this storage box! Should make my charm making a bit easier, without having to rummage and sift carefully from where it used to be stored - in a foil container :) I've also stored my half finished charms, prototypes, and figurines.
A-and for the final (random) picture - know what it is? It's Milo with ice-cream! I recently introduced this to my fiancée - and lol! It was the same reaction I got when I first introduced him to bacon! Ahahaha, goodness - I love milo with ice-cream though! Such a nostalgic childhood memory, and parents warning me not to eat like this or I'll get a stomach ache! Bwahahaa! Anyway, hopefully next time I post I will show you some charms in progress - I've already started to make a few to replace the ones I sold.
