Confetti, 3 and Cards
The iPad 3 that I ordered finally got here! There was a few issues with the order number, and the delivery company trying to figure out if I really am who I say I am, but I now have my paws on the iPad! Yay!
Now all I need to get is a cover and a protective screen guard for it, and I am set for toting it around with me everywhere! :D The screen is really bright and vibrant, and it doesn't feel as if it's that thick or heavier than the iPad 2 I had used before. But anyway, I made some confetti cookies!
Sounds impressive, but really, it's a basic butter cookie dough with sprinkles (hundreds and thousands) mixed in. What you end up with is a colourful and sweet cookie. You can go here to see the recipe I used.
I shaped the cookie dough into a log, and put it in the fridge to set a bit before slicing it and placing the cookies onto the baking trays.
A good way to shape the cookies, as the dough was quite sticky. See all the sprinkles embedded in the log?

Given the thickness of the cookies, these took about 15 minutes to bake.
Ta-dah! Confetti cookies! It's a good use for left over sprinkles, and they taste surprisingly good. It's not overly sweet, but it is on the sweet side with all those sprinkles in there. This cookie definitely does not need a drizzle of chocolate or chocolate chips in them!
Oh, my new candy obsession - coconut M&M's - so far I've been quite good, and haven't eaten the whole packet in a go yet XD
The business cards arrived! I am so happy with them! I now have boxes and boxes of them, and they're so pretty! And now I don't ever have to worry about running out of them at the conventions. Although, if people actually use them or keep them remains to be seen! Given that about 300 cards over the course of two conventions were picked up by people and customers, I have yet to see evidence of 300 people lurking in my sites :D
Perhaps there are more and I just don't know? Ah well, back to concentrating on uni, and doing my assignments!
