Cookies in a Mini Glass Jar

As I have promised, I have gone back to crafting! I decided to restock the mini-glass jar charms, namely some more purple stars, and the cookie ones. So I did the purple star ones first, since that's pretty fast and easy to do:

Bad photo I know, these really do look better in real life. But anyway, here are the tools I use to make the mini cookies to go into the mini glass jar:

That black plastic strip thing with holes in it - actually came from the packaging of a Transformer toy - lol, I have the bad habit of keeping things to recycle (good I suppose for an early childhood teacher, but bad for storage space) and the weird things I keep around I sometimes actually find a use for them! So this plastic thing, has holes that are the perfect size for my mini cookies. As you can see, I use air dry clay, squish it through the holes to the thickness I want the cookies to be, and then slice it off. The blade I use is from my hobby knife set, and I just use the razor on its own since it's easier that way to slice the clay that way.

I keep on squishing and slicing until I have enough piles of mini cookies. About 30 cookies for each jar is enough to fill them - and it's only until now that I realise I should have done something to the clay before I sliced it into mini-cookies. I should have coloured the clay.

D:

The thing about having something so small, is that it's really hard to paint! I should have coloured the clay with paint, slice the cookies, let it dry, and then all I have to do is use paint to dot in the chocolate chips, and the tiny faces! Bwaaaaagaaaah.

Oh whatever. The cookies are slices already >_<"

Oh and quick look, my work table at the moment. I notice that I like putting up pictures of my worktable, and how things on it changes as I do different projects :D Tomorrow, look forward to more progress pictures of the mini cookies.
