Mini Glass Jar Charms
I think Sundays are the worst for me - not only is it summer right now and I wilt in the heat, but I also have to drive my little sister around or my Dad, or both, and driving after a while tires you. It also doesn't help when you're trying to take a nap so that you are less tired, and people seem to sense this, and think it's the perfect time to call or message and wake you up just when you're about to sink into blissful unawareness! I really have the weirdest luck in the world.
But I digress, even though I am starting to resent Sundays, I did manage to finish the little glass jar charms!
These ones are filled with pink stars, glitter and mineral oil. So it's turned into a sort of mini jar snow globe, so that when you shake it up, the glitter floats slowly down to the bottom ^_^
I know the pictures aren't so great, but it's really difficult to take a photo of them since they're made out of glass and reflect like heck and the things in them are tiny - really tiny. These photos do not do them justice, believe me.
These ones are filled with purple stars, glitter and mineral oil ^_^
I haven't really made many of them, since I don't have that many jars to begin with, and secondly, I have no idea if they will sell or not anyway >_<
Itty bitty chocolate chip cookies in jars, no mineral water this time. I also painted little faces on them - no idea if you can see it here though :S
And that is it! I only need to seal the lids with superglue to make sure they won't come off, and attach a mobile strap onto them and they are done! I don't think I will make any more mini glass jar charms - I had contemplated doing a tiny totoro to put in them, but it was extremely fiddly to do, and the opening of the jars are small . . . perhaps I will try again when I have more time and patience!
