❤ Life Lesson ❤
Today I saw him
the boy of my dreams
he had dark brown hair
and Abercrombie jeans
he was best friends with my brother
The brother I hate
He mentioned my name
because he needed a date
My brother said I was free
he put on a great big smile
to get to see me he told me
He’d walk a thousand miles
he got to my house
looking sexy as hell
my heart started pounding
as he rang the bell
we went to the movies
to be home by 10
I had my friend call me
so I could be home by then
After the movies
we went out to eat
I tried to chip in
But he insisted, his treat
Then on the way home
He tried to slow down
But there was no stopping
For this drunk driving clown
the car hit my side
the metal had me stuck
through it I thought
what such luck
I was rushed to the hospital
with him by my side
I wanted him to be the one
to tell my family I died
tell my brother
I love him oh so much
tell my mom and dad
I still feel their touch
And to all my friends
the ones I love so dear
tell them no matter what
I’ll always be near
I’m starting to feel cold
my body’s feeling weak
this is the biggest fear
my heart will ever seek
for all who are listening
to this poem today

That driving drunk
is not a game
it isn’t cool
and can put you to shame..
