Yet I only returned once Subaru-kun allowed it. Had he refused, I would not have returned. Perhaps finding the facts before making accusations would work well.

But you are the reason Subaru is hurting now. If you care for him, you should let him heal...without you being there. You seem to have done nothing more than hurt him, regardless of what he chooses to do.
