RIP
It's amazing how one moment someone is in your life... and then suddenly, without notice they are gone. On wednesday morning i found out that my grandfather had passed away of a heart attack tuesday night, right as he was walking inside his house. It came as a shock to everyone because my grandfather was so healthy- he had just walked 4 miles on the beach that morning.
Last night was the wake... i think that the hardest part was seeing my grandmother... she was devestated. The funeral today was very nice. My grandfather had always said that he didnt want it to be a sad time.. so we all gathered together in the funeral home and people got up and told funny stories that they rememebred about my grandfather- he was quite a character.
although his death came as a shock i think that in a way it was better this way- he didnt have to suffer. - It's going to take some time but everyone is going to get through this- he's in all of our hearts. RIP
