on things
Last week was, on the whole, pretty awesome. Hung out with lots of cool people, a bunch of fun parties even if I bailed early on most of them - the only thing I didn't do was organize my room, but oh well, that can wait. I also finally went to the Field Museum after three years of meaning to sometime, and thanks to Shannon's employment it was totally free.
I saw Proof last night with Will, Rebecca P, Arielle, and Julia. Independent of the fact that I knew a lot of random extras (plus, unless I'm really mistaken, Paul Sally has a brief cameo - the reason for my confusion is that I believe he was sans eyepatch), it was pretty good. I don't know the play at all so I can't judge it based on that, but I recommend it anyway.
also, the movie made me excited for classes to start, which is cool. Even despite what might be a few bad omens this morning (my computer failing to turn on and not being able to find the right notebooks at B&N and accidentally getting graph paper notebooks (though, as Mame says, "graph is the new black")). Oh well. I've got a few hours to kill now, then Representations of Finite Groups, compsci lab, four hours of auditions, then volleyball, hopefully with dinner in there somewhere. whew!
