So, life's been really good.
The gig on Saturday went well. I was really happy because a lot of people I love came to it. Like family and college people, it was really awesome. A lot more people showed up then I expected actually. We opened for 3 other musicians: Eli Poulin, Pete Haase, and Chris James. I think a lot of people were there for them. Like Eli put out a commercial for the show and it had our band name in it. Chris and I also gave out cds at the concert and if anyone wants one, let me know. The show itself went pretty well. The balance was a little off, like my mic was kind of quiet, but it went good for a first gig. We did 3 songs and the 3rd was the best: Eyes of Blue. It was just a really awesome weekend.
Erin and Eric's wedding was so beautiful. Mary and I got all dressed up and got to hang out with Adrianne. It was really nice. I'm so happy they're married now.
I got to spend a lot of time with Chris's family this weekend as well and it was actually really fun most of the time. He has a crazy huge family with literally 7 siblings....plus his teenage sisters have tons of friends over 95% of the time, so it's REALLY a full house. Sometimes it's overwhelming because there's so much people but it's also really fun and interesting. So that was great.
Kieth came to the show which was cool and him and Mary and Chris and I all slept at my house in Waterville that night. We watched old school cartoons. Good times.
Adrianne, my dad, and Keith all took pictures at the show so they'll probably be up soonish.
