Ye gods. And don't ever think taking food is a bad thing-- gods only know that they've got ENOUGH to deal with; eating is usually the last thing on your mind, and making something good to eat to boot? It can mean the world. Really.

I've nearly been in such a situation, but managed to avert it. I can't imagine how I would've reacted if it'd turned out differently.

And never think that doing something to assist the family is a bad thing. Food's one of the common helps down here and it's more appreciated than you'll ever know.

Yeah, I can't imagine being in that situation. The sister who found him was holding together remarkably well, probably moreso than I could have, and it was humbling. My heart just goes out to all of them.

I definitely know food is far from the first thing on the family's mind at at time like that, so yeah.
