Um, so... I just bought a ticket to Sydney for August 7th! I'm going to Australia, baby!
Tickets were dirt cheap, otherwise I never would've dreamed of going. Admittedly this puts my whole "stay in Kochi and spend no money until I leave" plan out the window, but who cares?! This is Australia we're talking about! I may never have the chance to visit the country ever again, especially for so very cheap.
I am nervous, though, as I always am with big purchases. Will I regret this? Is it really worth it just to visit Sydney and Melbourne (and miss Steve Irwin's Australian Zoo in Brisbane)? It'll be winter then; will I freeze to death?
All this remains to be seen as I spend many a day planning and reserving with my intrepid travel partner, Annie.
But for now, I'm just excited and ready for anything!
