The little that is left of my afore mentioned grumpiness has simmered down to form a fine glaze of malaise with a creamy topping of apathy. (Sorry, I'm really hungry right now.) I simply don't feel like working. I think it's because I've lost my weekends to Genki, so it just kind of feels like one never-ending cycle of work. My free time is nil. I'm not really altogether angry or unhappy about this (despite the way I put it,) but it is wearing me out fast.
Thank God this weekend is a break. :D To make it even better, Thursday is a holiday. So I get Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday all to myself. Friday is my birthday. (:O) I have to work, but afterwards I think I'll head into the city to hang out with some people. I don't know, I really don't have any solid plans yet. I'm going to just go with the flow and hope everything works out.
This is the last week of school. For some odd reason, school continues for a week after graduation in Japan. For the 3rd years, of course, school is over, but the 2nd and 1st years still have classes. The reason beats me. All it means is more classes. >.< Let it end! Monday begins my two weeks at the Board of Education. Had I been smart, I would've planned a vacation here, but, no, I'm dumb. So I have two VERY boring weeks ahead.
But at least I won't be teaching. :Dv I just need a little break is all. I'll be ready to get back into the swing of things in April. *nodz*
I'm going to try working on
the Sakawa Wikipedia page (that needs some serious destubifying) while I'm stuck at the BOE. I have some statistics and pictures of city hall, the BOE, the schools, the town flag and stuffs. I figure at the very least it'll help my successor find out a little bit about Sakawa while waiting for the information packet to come in. I know Wikipedia was the very first place that I ran to when I found out my placement.
Yep, I'm going to edit Wikipedia pages and get paid for it. ;P
How in the world can I complain?
