Good news on the work front
I cannot believe I almost forgot to talk about this! The supervisor of the planogram team, Julia, talked with me a couple of weeks ago, asking me what my schedule was and such. Basically, she wants me on the planogram team and was waiting until our store manager got back so she could talk with her. I guess the store manager returned today, because as I was walking to the break room for my last 15, Julia waves me into this room where she was checking her email. She tells me that she talked with the store manager, and that it looks good for me getting on the planogram team! It sounds like I will start getting more and more planogram shifts until I am on there full-time. . . or something like that. I cannot tell you how excited I am about this! After she told me she was going to try to get me on the team I have been eagerly awaiting our store manager's return. After I heard that, my day was made! Every time I think of it, I get a big, stupid grin on my face. No more cashiering! Except for when they need back-up cashiers, which I can handle. I so hope that this works out and that I'm not getting my hopes up for nothing.
