Too few hours today!
Nora's birthday is tomorrow as is her party. She is having her first and possibly last location party. We are going to a paint your chosen ceramics place and it should be fun. She chose a relatively cheap meal to serve- sandwiches, veggies, fruit salad, and Jeff suggested some kind of chip so we have sun chips and veggie straws. They also get juice. Nora is very excited about the juice. She has also requested a strawberry cake with chocolate frosting. Here's hoping it turns out ok. I am currently making the strawberry puree and we will all make the cake after she gets home. But, I have to pick her up in an hour ipand a half and still need to stop and get a couple small gifts for her to open tomorrow morning and the puree needs to be finished first.
I did get a lot of the cleaning I needed to done- 2.5 bathrooms totally done, vacuumed everything but the basement, dusted up and most of downstairs, 3 loads of laundry that still need folding, still need to do the windows and prepare the kitchen for baking. Hm, guess I'd better get on that with the puree is cooking/ reducing.
