(no subject)
My mom is coming up today. We are all very excited to see her. This is the problem living 1000 miles away from my side. Kids see J's side all the time, at least once a week, but see my mom 2-3 times a year and my dad they haven't seen in about 2 years- which is huge given that they are 3 and 5! My dad huts can't come up. He started his new job about 18 months ago and he just doesn't have enough leave. But, we do get to see him next month when we go down for my newest nephew's baptism. That will be good. I am taking N out of school for 3 days and we are taking a tour of our Texas family's houses.
Anyway- so mom is coming up. I have the whole day to finish getting ready, which is good because the house is not ready. I need to do laundry, vacuum the whole house, dust, tidy a little, go to the grocery store (maybe, might put that one off) clean all 2.5 bathrooms. And maybe that's it. That doesn't seem too bad. Other than the bathrooms. I HATE cleaning bathrooms. I even considered getting a 1 bathroom house because of that. But nope, new house will be 2.5 as well. Oh, and give the dog a bath. Now I need to get the kids ready for school.
