I know this sounds stupid...but
Compliments are great, who doesn't like compliments? However, some compliments bother me. I always get "wow you're 27 you look younger." Yeah that's great and all, but then i start thinking to myself...geez i gotta stay this way. I look at myself sometimes and thing "errr...i'm getting old." This weekend some guy came up to me (he was really cute, but older) and told me this exact statement. Okay whatever, then we talk on the phone the next day and he tells me he usually dates under 21. Ummm I'm way past 21. This just makes me feel old. Tonight we hung out and that's all that was on my mind. I was thinking.."okay, try to look young." Isn't that crazy? Yeah well I didn't have fun. I hate having to live up to expectations. I rather people just say "you look good." That way I know I can just be myself with out having to live up to any expectations...just be me.
