Destiny...
Aang's childhood was taken from him 100 years ago due to one word: destiny. It's his destiny to stop this war and bring peace to the world. Along with Sokka and Toph, I'm supposed to help guide him with his destiny. I'm teaching Aang Waterbending, and Toph is teaching him Earthbending. Though, as much as he would say otherwise, he'll eventually have to learn Firebending.
He accidentally burned my hands while showing off a bit when he was Firebending, and Sokka really let him have it, but I'm fine now; Aang vowed to never Firebend again after that. But, if he's going to win against the Fire Lord, he'll have to master it.
...For now, I'll do my best to give Aang back what the monks denied him then-his childhood. The Avatar's return gives us all hope, but Aang deserves a childhood more than anything else.
