What is fair rent compensation?
I talked to the lady who runs the property and she is going to find out about compensation for all the time and money I spent on cleaning and making the new apartment livable. *But* she wants to know how much is fair compensation. I told her I'd get back to her, because I needed to think about it and ask around for what was typical.
So, the place was really filthy (as in las tenants didn't clean then left it 5 months empty with windows open filthy)
I repainted the living room (that cost ~$100) and I haven't gotten around to repainting the bedroom. I don't want to, but the walls are dirty and I've tried scrubbing, but the paints gonna come off with the dirt. Plus I had to deal with a broken toilet/fridge/stove
So what do you guys think? I'd say at the very least $100..
