so it's kind of been like christmas around here lately. we got a flatbed trailer, a sweet new riding lawnmower, my mom got this crazy cool treadmill, bc she's a treadmill girl. lol uhhm...my parents paid what was left of the house off. which was like $94,000. crazy. paid off the truck and car. bought a metal building for a shop. going to buy a tractor saturday. and paid off like $20,000 of the land cost.
my stepdad offered to pay me $4.15 an hr and a $2 bonus for every acre i plow if i'll work on the land with him. i said okay. but ill only do it part-time, i'm getting a real job, too. lol it's been cool. we built a whole front porch last saturday. i stained and sealed it last night. my stepdad was like, "i'll make a farmer or a cowgirl out of you, yet." i'm like, "mmm, oook." ?
whatev.
church has been good. it was soooo sweet tonight. monday was charlie's bday. charlie is our pastor. well, we got him a gift. like, a general gift from the whole church. and it was this frame with a scene of a cowboy on top of a hill with THE prettiest sunset in the background that i have ever seen and it had scripture at the bottom. as he got it all the way open, todd and the band started playing happy birthday and we all sang to him. and he was just crying. =) lol it was so cute.
saturday is the comanche rodeo and Don and Monda, a couple from my church was wanting my mom and bobby to help them with the church's booth there. well, mom and bobby are going to an auction in Winters. but i told my mom i'd go help, so i guess i'm going to call monda tomorrow and see if she'd like my help. i like monda, she's really sweet.
hm, what else is going on. oh, my sister tammy is having surgery friday morning at 9:30. she's having a DNC and something else. she's been having female problems, and they're recommending a complete historectomy, but she's only 32! well, she'll be 33 next month, but still. so they're going to see how that goes and if it helps at all first. hopefully it will. she's nervous. for some reason, she's afaid of dying. it's weird, she's had surgeries before and everything was cool and she was scared or nervous. i dont know. but charlie knows how she feels, so charlie and julie (his wife) are going to be up there that morning. which i think is sweet.
anyway, im going to go smoke a cigarette, besides im tired of typing.
