My friend David is in the midst of a HORRIBLE situation with his current landlord. He (this landlord) is the slumlord to beat all slumlords. And he's vicious, amoral, and has the corrupt Brooklyn police in his pocket. David, his wife and baby are now moving from Brooklyn to MA partially to get away from him. this computer was a very, very generous gift from my stepbrother. i totally didn't ask for it. he called to say that i and his uncle danny (http://www.amerisound.com/) - who is one of my favorite people - had been really inspirational to him (musically) and he wanted to do something for me. amazing. i have a card sitting right here waiting to go out to him.

I do - or at least I remember what he looked like in 1987 :-). I don't remember him being funny, but then for various reasons I was pretty unrelaxed and self-centered back then (as opposed to now...oy), and I wasn't taking in men much.

That's about what I figured. It'd've put him in his mid-30s when we recorded at his studio. Such a huge gap then. Now, not so much.
