just an hour and a half away
I'm taking Rocco to the vet for his first year appt today. That's when I expect my Hot Vet to declare him THE MOST BEAUTIFUL KITTY IN ALL THE LAND. If he doesn't, there's something wrong, for surely he is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL KITTY IN ALL THE LAND.
I signed the lease for my new place and have started moving things over. I have almost all of the boxes that will remain packed over there already and they all fit into one closet with lots of room to spare. So strange to actually have SPACE. I'm officially moving next Friday and spent some hours today changing over all my bills, magazines, etc. That was a pain in the ass.
And I've been moving things in my NEW CAR, which is also THE MOST BEAUTIFUL KITTY IN ALL THE LAND. Or something like that. And it is so amazing.
My laptop, that was first fixed for a few minutes, then second repair guy told me that it was a motherboard short and wasn't fixable. Upon looking further, he actually DID get it fixed, got the computer cleaned out of all its dust and fur and inevitable sugar from Dancing Deer, and backed everything up. The new laptop won't be here for a little bit, as it's being built, but in the meantime, I can use this one and not my desktop.
Whew. Scary things (car payment, new place), but good.
