life goes easy on me most of the time.

NEWS FLASH:

it's cold!

so today has to be one of the best days of my life. and for no particular reason at all. i just had the most satisfying day ever. i woke up kinda on time and slowly got out of bed and remembered: hey, isn't it supposed to be nice outside today? so in light of my curiosity i put on my 'holy heaven, it's nice and warm in here' robe and slowly meandered over towards the balcony. now, mind you, i took a big risk in putting that robe on because, had it been the same temperature as the entire week, i would have cooked myself alive. but, to my delight, as i opened the sliding door i was greeted by... yes, that's right... the wonderful feeling of... nothing. this was the greatest feeling ever. the temperature was the same as it was in the house (approximately 70°). how wonderful was that? very, my friend.

i then spent way too much time on the internet procrastinating my shower. consequently i was late to my American Dilemmas class. i hate that class. but, like i said, the day was going marvelously so i didn't worry about it. then as soon as i managed to sign on to the wireless internet from the classroom i got the nicest surprise ever. brian sent me an instant message. i have missed brian a lot. i know it's wierd, but i got so used to talking to the kid and then when he went away i didn't really know what to do. so he told me that he got my letter and that he's been working and stuff like that. just when i was getting ready to tell him about some of the stuff i've been doing lately my damned teacher decided that he wanted to end class 30 minutes early, which, on any normal day, would have been accepted with arms wide open (ha i know i had to have just said that because TIM is in my class and i thought of creed and... well... you know... sorry, i know... lame joke...). but i was talking to brian, for fuck sake. so i scurried over to the courtyard where i communed with many of my good friends. i don't know what's up with the fucking wireless internet on campus... but it's really spontaneous (for lack of a better word). it'll be strong one second and then the next second it'll be all gone. and some people are conductors; the signal gets stronger when they stand near me. others are just dense. some are just sad. others just make people sad. ha. sorry. so i managed to get back online and finish up my chat with mr. wheeler and then i had to hurry off to World Justice Systems. i love that class. especially since today all we did was learn about the British police system and it's recruiting system and training, all of which took about a half hour. BRILLIANT! and we don't even have class next week! awesome!

i went home and waited for frankie to call and meet me for lunch, and when he didn't call i sent him a text message wondering where to meet him. he called me back and told me that he was waiting for MY call and by that time i had no time to go eat and i felt bad. i was really excited, too! oh well, i see him all the time. ALL RIGHT then i ran off to buy some cigarettes before class.

In digital imaging we finished up our fairy tale posters and printed them. i was really happy with how mine turned out, and i think my teacher liked them too (which is always a good thing). mid way through class i took a break to go buy a pepsi and have a cigarette. as i opened the door of the arts building i was greeted by an icy gust of wind that nearly blew my chucks off! it was so... cold! and i loooved it!

caitlin and i did nothing all night. she studied and i... well, here goes. wanfu tried to jip me tonight. cait and i thought it'd be a good idea to order chines because, well quite frankly, we were hungry. and in lieu of the lack of food in our house i decided to go pick something up for myself. i offered to pick caitlin something up as well and we pondered for a bit on what to get. chinese sounded good to both of us, so i called waaaaaanfu. chicken fried rice, chicken and shrimp lo mein, general tao's chicken, fried wontons and hot and sour soup. simple order, really. not for wanfu. i drove the million miles over to east oltorf and picked up the goods, no sooner had i gotten home and opened up all the packages only to find NO HOT AND SOUR SOUP, a must have since my recent discovery of 'hot and sour with riiiice' (thanks bern...). so i called. they baited me with an extra bowl of soup and i couldn't resist. the gas it took to get over there probably cost more than the meal combined. oh well... food for a week. haha. i was just happy to eat.

then we watched Saved, which i think is one of my new favourite movies. i can't help it guys, it's funny. caitlin and i just laughed the whole time.

then i cleaned the kitchen and wrote caitlin an encouragement letter and taped it to the fridge (she has 3? tests tomorrow, she's a little stressed). and now here i am. and i still haven't even packed yet! i leave at 2:45 tomorrow for north carolina! we're going to the mountains to the biltmore mansion. should be a good time. i love being with my family. i can't wait to get back to austin already, though. with weather like this, it's really a shame to leave.

well, sorry if this bored you. i just haven't updated lately; i've seriously been lacking motivation to do a lot of things lately. but hey i 1. cleaned my room, 2. washed the dishes, and 3. updated my blog. hopefully i'll see you guys around soon! (especially you, johann).

OH YEA!
and i saw minus the bear. they rocked my face off!
