End of Japanese
I got my JLPT card in the mail yesterday. It fills me with anxiety. It's so weird to think that it's only 3 weeks away.
I've been working on the past few days on my JET essay. It's surprising how much it's changed! I think it is much better now.
Sometime in early September, I asked my coworker John to give me a recommendation for JET. I gave him the forms in early October, and he told me he'd get on it. Then I reminded him about it two weeks ago, to which he said "oh yea, I'll get to it in a week." Earlier this week, he said "oh oh, well I have some stuff I have to do for a class, but I'll get to you by the end of the week."
Today he comes up to me and goes "Hey, so, I still haven't gotten to that recommendation... Do you think you could write it for me?"
Really? Well, uh... I guess I'm about to get the best goddamn recommendation I've ever received.
