Our upcoming Generation
I am part of Generation X(XX):
Drinking is a requirement to have a good time.
Smoking weed is fun.
Just go out and buy a dime.
After that drink some more, you're done.
Friend is not a friend, but a drinking pal.
Family is a ghost.
Porn is sent through the mail.
Satan is the host.
Why have we become this way?
Does everyone feel a need to be accepted by their peers?
Slacking off at college during the day,
Finishing the night with a couple of beers?
If I were an elderly person right now,
I would be praying my face blue.
The young kids do not care how,
They care about any drugs and beer that are new.
School is a thing of the past,
Beer is number one, porn at number two.
God has fallen not to third but last.
What is there left to do?
I think I will stay who I am,
A person who stands for the Lord and His angelic choir.
All those others can go to hell as they choose, bedamned.
I will not burn as they will in the Lake of Fire.
But they have a choice, they must choose.
Is it God or Satan, Integrtiy or Sin?
With the second choice they can only lose,
But God gives them a second chance, a chance to win.
I choose God's loving power.
I choose everlasting life.
I will not be quiet, I will not cower,
If you do not agree, bring the strife.
I will take my Bible in hand,
Throwing scriptures towards your tainted lies.
Do not expect me to back away, I will stand,
For what I believe I will live, for what you believe, your soul dies.
