Mm, I thought so as well. Not that I am not flattered to have everyone's confidence, but... well, I can't say I understand what made Malik so much more appealing a target.
Indeed. True, our numbers were a bit reduced this evening, but it is odd to see such unity. The wolves giving up one of their own, perhaps?
Earlier I was a bit worried that miss Mayumi was our wolf -- but if that were the case, I would have expected the wolves to divvy up their votes a bit better; it is not as though they would have needed to care which of us the rest of the sheep chose to place their vote on.
Obviously, yes, though if I prefer it is only because it is true that I am not the wolf. Truthfully, I didn't bring up my suspicions of miss Mayumi earlier in public, because I didn't want to risk making myself look like a good target for being eaten, should I not be voted out.
For whatever reason, I apparently look like a safe option; enough doubt that the wolves feel no immediate need to remove me.
Or, as you say -- perhaps many of them are absent, and there is less strategy involved than I am giving them credit for.
The wolves would be dumb to eat you now that you've been in a clue. It'd be narrowing down the options.
It's weird that you got three suspicion votes and then only one in the ousting, though. Could be people just trying to make sure Mayumi didn't go up. Although that could be true whether she's a wolf or not, since she's a girl and people want to protect her.
For my own part in that-- if she turns out to be the wolf, I will of course feel foolish; it's not worth losing the game over protecting her, as we will only lose more lives that way, by dallying. Unfortunately, I did not start truly thinking about who of us might be the wolf until rather late -- I'd no chance to observe anything about Malik beforehand, and I was... distracted, besides.
...You just have to decide what to do next. If you think Malik was a wolf, then there might still be a wolf around from the first clue. That's me or Battler. If you think there a chance it might be Mayumi, you might want to focus your attention there.
Battler was the one vote for me, though there's no good way to tell if that means anything -- either he was a wolf trying to break the unanimity, or he was a sheep who was suspicious of it.
Or he was just voting randomly.
[sighs again]
I don't care for this at all. I'd thought to ask you your opinion, as you seem to have more experience with the game than I.
My instincts say it's not Battler. He reads really earnest to me, and I think he voted on you because the unanimity was suspicious. That means I have to think Ash was a wolf. And it means I'm suspicious of both you and Mayumi.
Although I guess we could've been right both times. Hatter did say we were doing well.
Like Mayumi, I find Miranda's continual horror at our circumstances to be just as likely to be due to having to work with Hatter. Demyx I don't know well, though he seems rather unphased by most of the goings-on.
Last night Tyki contacted me to ask if I were a wolf, and offered to make me a deal to be my 'inside man', had I been... which is not an offer I expect he would have made, were he a wolf. There's also his attachment to Ash, to consider -- in my time in Camp, Ash is one of the few I have seen Tyki show honest care for.

Seeing a near-unanimous vote is more suspicious than intuition, usually.

Or it could be that the sheep votes just fell that way. We were missing a bunch of people, maybe the full complement of wolves just weren't voting.

Or there's the remaining group.
