I'm not going to hate, yet, I'll pick up the album, give it a fair shot, and it'll probably be good. With the exception of the Roots, Antedote, and Drunken Immortals, the live band hip hop sound can really fucking suck. Case in point, Lyrics Born's last tour, he played all his jams with a live band. Sounds like a great idea, right? Well, I was bored off my ass, the beats didn't hit hard, and I don't know if I puked that night due to a psychic premonition of the future of hip hop, or I just shouldn't have sipped on that jager. To conclude though, let's just get this straight, a LOT of people are going to be very disappointed with this album, and it may forever ruin his rep with hip hop, but there's a whole bunch of white folks that are going to love his new shit.
