We went to go see 300 last night and had a really great time =).
The movie was actually pretty good. From a purely artistic standpoint, I thought it was amazing. Some of the shots were just like, wow. The cinematography was awesome and I loved what they did with the film and just the look of everything. Overall it was definately an action flick haha. Lots of fighting. People kept saying that it was really gore-filled, but I don't know what they were talking about haha. With the exception of 2 decapitations, which in my opinion were tastefully done (or at least as tastefully done as a decapitation can be) it was no more gorey than any of the other war movies I've seen. And believe me, I've seen horror movies that make 300 look like a kids movie. Cabin Fever is probably one of the goriest movies I've seen, but then again a movie about a flesh-eating virus would be haha.
