i swear i'll act enthused.
Aaaanyways. A lot of random things have happened lately I guess. Nothing to extraordinary. South padre was okay I guess, pretty much rained the whole time. I felt kinda like a dick just leaving before 4th of july weekend so I wound up just putting my 2 weeks in and taking those days off like an ass. But yeah, my last day is the 22nd. We’ll see what happens after that, I still want to be a used car salesman. As good as I can be at telling the truth, I’m much better at telling “the truth” ☺ which I think would make me really good at that kinda job.
Anyways, before I left to south padre I wound up just going to my friend patricks place for a lil shin dig he had. Jerk lives way out in the boonies, it was cool though, forgot my simpsons shot glasses there. But it was cool, I wound up passing out on one of the sofas there so I got all the leftover beer for staying the latest
Ha, the other day at bradleys I met Jarrett up there. It was interesting, played some billiards, met some people. Closed down the bar and then headed to the house of the people we had just met. Finished my bottle of yager and all the free beer I got from patricks. Decided it would be a good idea to go to their pool. It was cool cause Jarrett knows all the police dispatchers so he told them to give us a heads up if they got any calls for the area we were at. I knew I brought him for some reason. A whole lot of drunkenness happened that night but it was all good.
This last Friday was the first time I called into work since I was at west. John Michael texted me and was like dude nick is gonna be in town this weekend. We all met up at zios cause he used to work there before he worked with us so he knows like a lot of the people there and the manager. Got us half off our tab which was cool. I felt like a drunk cause I had met drew, tim, roland and some other guy at bradleys at like 4:30 and went strait to zios at like 7:30 and started drinking again. And of course they give you those uber big glasses. After we were done eating I came up with the great idea to go to kona grill and get sake bombs before I had to go to work. Of course that place was damn crowded so we headed over to boston pub cause none of us had been there before. Joanne was right that place fucking sucks. Yuppie hang out. Pretty much walked right outta there and then nick was like I know the manager of this one place off of hausman.
So we proceeded back there, which was by far the closest place to zios. I never even heard of it before. Espana something something is what it was called. Not super busy but more than a decent crowd. They had a live band, good bar. Large outside area, a lil pool table and clean bathrooms and an actual kitchen that made food from a menu. Pretty cool place, kinda pricey though, 2 crown and cokes and a pint of shiner was 15 bucks. I guess its not that bad. I’m just used to 8.25 large pitchers at bradleys.
Anyways they wound up convincing me to call into work. Originally we were gonna have one of the waitresses call my job acting as my sister and telling them that I couldn’t come in today because I had had a seizure. I wound up just texting Jarrett and telling him I was stranded in Austin. I figured no one would question it because according to them I go to Austin a lot. Got a text like 5 minutes later saying they got it taken care of, shabby.
So after a while at that place, john decided it would be best to gather the cars at his place and just take 1 car for the rest of the night. Of course that meant that I would be driving. Wound up going back to bradleys where we got a large pitcher and played some pool for a bit before we went and met up with roland. It’s a good thing we got a case of beer before we went to rolands though cause they had run out. But there was too much people there so we wound up just taking a few back to johns to finish our case and the few we had left back at his place. Fun night.
Just been takin it easy since then, I need a new pool cue. I sold my old one to Jarrett so I’ve just been using house cues for a while, it sucks. Theres this one mc dermott I’m looking at, I’ve seen it as low at $239. There’s also a sneaky pete for the same price. Not even to try and hustle people I just kinda like they way those look a lil more. I just don’t know how good a wood to wood joint would last. Blah, well I’m at work writing this and its about time for a nap so I’m out. Till next time, cheerio.
