Years ago, when I heard that the lead singer of Coheed and Cambria would be writing comic books based off his songs, I rember thinking, "Wow, that sounds like it could be pretty cool."
Man was I ever wrong.
A few months ago, when I heard the lead singer of My Chemical Romance was writing a comic book, I thought that it sounded ALMOST as dumb as the Jenna Jameson-penned book. If you had told me it would have killer robots, a talking monkey, and mysterious children raised to be heroes, I would have considered it even more trite and precitable than I already had thought it would be.
