Fic of the Week: The Long Way Home, by Sahiya, Rating: PG/FRT
Ok, so we ended up with another tie. This time it was between The Long Way Home by Sahiya and Ripper's Redemption by Gibberish. Since I wasn't quite on the ball last week, we didn't have time to try to break the tie, so instead of taking recs for next week's fic, we will read one this week and the other the next.
This week's fic is The Long Way Home by Sahiya. Summary: Buffy and Giles are both idiots. Faith nudges them in the right direction. Setting: Post Series, comics included. This was written in 2008, so the bad thing that happened to Giles hasn't happened yet. Please note that you don't need to have read the comics to understand what is going on in the story. The author does a good job paraphrasing. :)
