HereI peered out the window, my bat-- my hands curling up in my lap as I watched the whole of the outside setting light up completely for a few seconds before dying back down to thick blackness of heavy nighttime rain. Willow’s grip on my arm tightened, and I reached up to squeeze her hand. It was then I noticed that those gits may have a strong sense of smell, but they couldn’t see very well in the dark. That gave me an idea. “We need to blind them,” I whispered at Willow, hoping she had some sort of ignite powder with her. It’s pretty standard, but also something easily forgotten.
“Here,” I continued, fishing the flashlight out of my pocket and passing it over to her. Then I grabbed my axe, and slipped the gun from the holster. “You distract them for now, and then bombard them with your magic. Once we have those daft demons taken care off, we can go for….the big thing….” I trailed up, noticing how that particular demon seemed to be growing rather large. Maybe now would be a good time to see if we could contact Angel?
