HereI peered out the window, my bat-- my hands curling up in my lap as I watched the whole of the outside setting light up completely for a few seconds before dying back down to thick blackness of heavy nighttime rain. "Weird storm," I said with a slight shiver. Outside, I knew it was almost be electrical, if not... just really wet.

Shoving Willow behind me, I do that with Cordelia as well only I get whacked on the head for my trouble then, I narrowed my eyes at these things. There was no whack on the head this time, but Willow did glance around me to look at those demons as well. I think both our eyebrows rose when they started to talk in English. Well, must be our lucky day, we can actually hear what they’re up to. Not that a different language would’ve made much of a difference, both Willow and I were rather apt at translating quickly.
My eyes moved over to Willow while the two demons blathered on and came to a halt on the knife she was clutching. “We need to figure out a way to get rid of them and close the portal,” I whispered, feeling her warmth seep through my own sodden clothes. I’m surprised the demons hadn’t caught onto us just by the sloshing sound we made with each movement.
“….Ere, did yea here that?”
Or not… Damn.

"Just over there."
Oh cripes. I flinched as they both turned towards us, hand moving to grip Wesley's arm, tense. Do we run? Was there anywhere -to- run? Ya know, besides the big wobbly portal. That just got slowly bigger. I glanced at it before back at the two demons, who squinted into the darkness. Good, demons who didn't have supernatural vision. Then one straightened and sniffed the air deeply, and growled. Bad, demons who did have supernatural sense of smell.
"Looks like we gor ourselves a couple o' humans," he said to his partner. who grinned wolfishly.
"Good luck t'us, then. We got all the right ingredients." He stepped forward. "Come out, pretties."
Heck, did they even know that something had already come out of the portal? Obviously not. I didn't know what made me more worried - them noticing us or whatever it is that eats humans already out and about without it's summoners knowing it was around.
But it was then that a low growl came from a distant corner of the warehouse. Yeah, I'd worry about -that-.

Willow’s grip on my arm tightened, and I reached up to squeeze her hand. It was then I noticed that those gits may have a strong sense of smell, but they couldn’t see very well in the dark. That gave me an idea. “We need to blind them,” I whispered at Willow, hoping she had some sort of ignite powder with her. It’s pretty standard, but also something easily forgotten.
“Here,” I continued, fishing the flashlight out of my pocket and passing it over to her. Then I grabbed my axe, and slipped the gun from the holster. “You distract them for now, and then bombard them with your magic. Once we have those daft demons taken care off, we can go for….the big thing….” I trailed up, noticing how that particular demon seemed to be growing rather large. Maybe now would be a good time to see if we could contact Angel?
