"How are you?"
"I'm fine"
Such an easy thing to lie about, twp little words so easy to say. I wonder how many people are really lying to everyone and to themselves when they say "I'm fine" when asked that question?
I know I do sometimes, it's just easier to say that you are okay then have to face a bazillion questions such as:
"What's wrong?"
"What happened?"
"Who do I have to hurt?"
or the whole pity angle of it after you break down under questioning:
"I'm so sorry"
"If there's anything I can do, please call me"
It's enough to drive any sane man insane. Though there is one thing worse those questions, one question that irks me bad. When asked and you answer and then they ask you a question:
"Are you sure you are ok?"
Jesus I said I was didn't I? Granted at times I'm really not in the best of moods, they still should take my words for face value. It's not even always when I'm in a shitty mood, but when I'm in a good one. Some people just feel the need to try and push and push and push.
How often do I lie when I say I'm fine? Why would I tell you that? You'll just have to figure it out yourself.
