(no subject)
I bet everyone already knows about this song, but I only heard it for the first time today because I hardly ever listen to the radio because they mostly just play the same songs again and again.
Anyway, today I heard a song called "Foundations" by Kate Nash. In some ways I find it really annoying, and in others I'm totally in love with it, just because it's so different to all the other songs on the radio right now (around here at least).
As with all songs I get addicted to, I tried to figure out if it would work for a fic or vid for any of my fandoms, but I don't think it does. My mind went straight to Doctor Who though, because of her accent. She kinda reminds me of Donna in some ways. lol. But I guess it could make a good Rose fic, pre-Nine (pre-Mickey, even!), for when she was with Jimmy Stone, if you're one of the people who thinks he was probably a useless piece of shit (and I am, because I went to high school in the UK and it felt like 80% of the guys my age were assholes, so odds are he was probably like them. lol)
I'm not gonna use it for anything, but I am gonna listen to it repeatedly, so I thought I'd share. ;)
