forgive me, for i totally forgot that today's your birthday. if it wasn't for the reminder on my mobile phone, i would not be typing this post at all. as you've noticed in the past year i've been busy with work and ended up spending every little bit of free time i have to procrastinaterelax, and so i have not done anything to celebrate this day with as i have done in the previous years. but here's to the amazing 2++ years that we have shared, and i hope it will continue many decades to come.
dear sho,
hope this 27th will be the greatest year ever.
nigiyaka na kono machi no sora ni
omoikiri hariageta koe wa

ano hito e no Happy Birthday
i met up with maha and her sister today, it was fun! and the movie was lovely (and i was accompanied by the shawl that now smells like my leader hmm i'm sorry i sound so stalker-ish), and i got my food for tomorrow (carl's jr., yumyum) and i'm going to stay over at her place monday!
it's just that...
because i lent my touch'n'go card to my friend who was supposed to pick me up from the airport when i came back from my home country but ended up didn't used up the balance in it and paid me back in cash and i didn't check before trying to get on the bus today and there was only 1.85 left which is no enough to pay and i had no small change so the bus driver told me to wait for the next bus which i couldn't afford for i had made an appointment with maha so i had to take a cab and the driver just had to chat me up but i was lucky he gave his number and did not ask back also he told me the shops are closing at 4 and i was like really and turned out he was right and so after maha and i met up we just wandered around looking for food but the sushi shop was closed so we ended up in burger king and then went for the movie which was pretty good if not for the lousy sound system mishap at the middle of the show and after that i bought food for tomorrow including strawberry milkshake and then headed to starbucks for a drink and chat and of course maha spilled everything about nagase and i swear i'm in danger of putting one leg off the cliff already and when i watch those clips maha promised to show me tomorrow i know i will fall for sure and so my milkshake melted slowly and then we went to the bus stop and turned out the my bus skipped a few runs and thus will not come until 10.30 so i decided to go by taxi again which is more expensive than the trip there because it's not by meter and when i got home i realised that my milkshake had spilled and leaked through the plastic bag i swear i had no idea if it leaked to the taxi seats or not but when i opened the brown paper bag at home i only have like half of it left and i got it on my jeans and bag but luckily my food stayed dry and nice smelling beside me now. hah.i have lived in malaysia for 4 years, and never have i experienced this on chinese new year. it's either i never really cared to notice, or i just didn't go out that much (probably due to my living in malaysia's timbuktu for college). it appeared that chinese new year is the big thing here in KL that almost all the shops in the mall i went to today closed at 4 pm. and will still be closed during the 2-day public holiday. man, not only that i barely have friends in KL aside from my colleagues (because my college mates have all gone somewhere else), and those colleagues are in their hometown collecting angpaos tomorrow, and i have nowhere to go if the shops are closed, and i have no food to eat because the food stalls near my house also closed for the holiday, and there's a big chance that kinokuniya might be closed too. i'll keep my fingers crossed when i call kinokuniya tomorrow.
