BASKETBALL [<333] has been in session for almost a week! WOOT WOOT. It has been quite an adventure, I must say. The JV Season is going to be very interesting, but I'm totally up for it. :D Sammie, Marissa, Caitlin, Nicole and Jess. We're the dynamic SIXO. :P It's surprsing to think that Morse isn't going to bring down the season this year. She doesn't seem like she's going to scream at me this year. *happy dance* She knows I'm not in need of that. But who is? Anyway, I can't wait for our first game, which is on December 6th! And it's Home, so you ALL should be there! I don't know exactly what's in store for Marissa and I, but we're learning a lot and getting better by practicing with Varsity, even though it was intimidating at first. [I sort of still think it is.] I was completely nervous on Friday night for the scrimmage in Moultenboro, but after the 1st quarter, I was fine. [BTW: I wish Coach Noyes was still Varsity coach over there. I miss having him during AAU. He was tremendous!]Yesterday, the JV scrimmage went a lot smoother than I was expecting. Which, during hitting the floor and scrambling for the ball, I pulled something in my leg and now my quad hurts. Playing another game afterwards wasn't so much fun. JV, We played well together. Nice job to everyone who was there! :P Keep up the good work.
About Basketball getting ready for regular season.... be prepared for a major lack of updates. I'll try my best, but I'm not promising anything.
As for this weekend:
I had to watch Taryn on Friday night, after the scrimmage, which really wasn't really "watching." She just wanted a slave! :P Just kidding, but not really. [Hope you feel better, Taryn!] Emily took over on Saturday when I had another scrimmage, this time against Kingswood. And last night Alex came over. We watched White Noise. I'd give the movie 2 stars. [Out of 5... or possibly 10.] It wasn't very good. We made fun of it more than we watched it. Alex kept hoping Micheal Keaton would die. [ I know, he's so kind! ;) ] I could tell you what happens, but that would spoil it.
I'm really physced for Thanksgiving! I haven't seen the whole family together since October. Annnnd it's at Carol's! WHOOHOO! I love having the holidays at the Inn. It just makes everything much warmer. I wish we were having Christmas there too, but I guess you can't have everything.
