Dear Livejournal friends
I love you to pieces and miss you a whole bunch. I still read most of the posts (though drastically reduced my friendslist, in case anyone was wondering). New Jersey is A-OK but I've turned into a very boring young lady, much to the dismay of my partner in (non)crime. Even my mom said she needs to come down here to get me out on the town. Thing is, I don't like the atmosphere in bars around there parts. I like Cambridge and Somerville where bars are full of people who wear glasses, people who have advanced degrees, people who are musicians or artists, people who like GOOD BEER, people who chit-chat with strangers about the most random of things. People who don't live in suburban New Jersey. So I relent to the fella and go out on the occasional weeknight. The weekends, that I can't do. Too many loud, drunk jamokes.
Everything is really great though. I swear. The job continues to challenge. I might be really good at what I do. I also might suck. It's been a true trial by fire. This week I find out if all of the work from the past 1.5 months is well received by THE CLIENT. I also have to submit a bunch of stuff to the clint this week without any direction from a boss (my boss left for maternity and the interim boss is presenting my other work in Berlin). Scary stuff but I think it will work out.
