Bartleby is not quite asleep. He's hovering on the edge of waking, and tossing in the bed a bit.

Before Bartleby came back, Liam might just have let himself into Charlie's room without ceremony or announcement. It doesn't feel quite right to do that, anymore, now his brother's no longer the room's sole occupant.

So he knocks, but quietly, in case Bartleby's actually managed to get some much-needed sleep.

Bartleby stirs. "C'min," he mumbles.

So Liam does, walking still quietly into the room and dropping into an armchair. He looks Bartleby over automatically, trying to gauge how he's doing.

"Morning."

Bartleby opens his eyes. "Liam. Morning."

"How're you feeling today?"

[watch_wait]

"Getting better." Bartleby smiles.

[youalleverybody]

Liam smiles back. "Good to hear. You had us worried for a bit, there. Good to see you back, too."

[watch_wait]

"Mostly, good to be back." Bartleby nods.

[youalleverybody]

His face turns more serious at the "mostly", and he nods. "Yeah... Charlie told me what happened."

"That I made a choice?"

[youalleverybody]

"...I don't think he knew that, at the time. You were still out." He pauses for a long moment, visibly shaken by this new information. "Knowing that... then I've got even more to thank you for."

[watch_wait]

"I made the choice for me," Bartleby says, voice soft.

[youalleverybody]

"Even so... before that, you gave me my brother back. Gave him back to us all."

[watch_wait]

"You're welcome." Bartleby smiles a little.

[youalleverybody]

"Are you going to be okay?" He watches Bartleby carefully.

"Mostly."
