The Same Old Story, But the Names Have All Been Changed
Holy shit... Okay, so the 3 show was Friday. It. Was. AWESOME. I've seen them five times thus far, and they have blown my mind every time. This band can do no wrong. The set list was (I think):
The World is Born of Flame
The End is Begun
Alien Angel
Battle Cry
Dregs
All That Remains
My Divided Falling
These Iron Bones
Bramfatura
The Last Day
Drum Battle/Mini-Jam
Amazedisgrace
Porcupine Tree was headlining, and man, were they good. They played a 2-hour set of non-stop prog-rocky goodness. They had a projector behind them playing these visuals that were damn near putting me to sleep. Nonetheless, it was an excellent show.
The venue was all right, I guess. It was a little cramped in the pit, and some of the other concert-goers were inconsiderate of the other patrons (i.e. barreling through them without any warning or any kind of "excuse me").
