yep, still here.
things are looking up, finally...
money is still tight as an emo boy's "little sister" jeans, but that's something i can deal with
i've finally reached a point where i can think about Karma, or look at a picture of her without crying.
her ashes were delivered last week, and i think that was my last big cry.
Kismet seems to have settled in quite easily to her role as the only household cat. she's been super affectionate, and a lot more playful now that she actually gets to enjoy her toys. :)
we're getting down to the wire now. only two weeks until moving day... and only one more work day for me. i purposely arranged it so that my office manager wouldn't have to mail my final paycheck to me, and i'd have a week or so to finish packing and all the other mundane nit-picky things that have to be taken care of. besides, that means i have friday off, to relax and get things together for the boutique this weekend... and for once, i don't have to work all day friday, and then spend all friday evening working on set up. i can get there at the beginning of set up, and maybe get it done at a reasonable hour. :)
here's hoping we get through the next two weeks without any major hangups. that'd be nice. honestly, i'm pretty sure i DESERVE that.
