-Do you look like a Indian Cinema Star? If you want, post pics.

I don't think so. But I am posting a pic! If you do think I look like anyone, you should tell me, because it's apparently Celebrity Doppelganger week/month on Facebook and I would love to jump on the bandwagon. :P I am the one on the right (without the sunglasses).

-Do you know someone who is a dead ringer for a Indian Cinema Star? If you want (and it is okay with them) post pics.

No, I don't.

-Favorite pics of your favorite Indian Cinema Star?

Normally I would have picked Shahrukh Khan here, but since wasabi_girl1 has gone that route with a rather unbeatable picspam, I'm going to go with Shahid Kapoor, who I'll probably end up married to some day. ;)

His grin here is the best thing of my life:

A moment from the Screen Awards. I loved this moment and Shahid's intense expression made it even better.

-Horrible pics of your favorite Indian Cinema Star?

Okay, I'm not going to go looking for these! But some of his older pics do make me cringe. :)

-Personal (as in I met them personally) pics of Indian Cinema Stars?

I've only actually met two personally: Fardeen Khan and Anupam Kher. Both were quite a while ago. The Fardeen Khan meeting was when he first started acting; I was vacationing in India and happened to see him at the airport. And the Anupam Kher one was when I went for his show some years ago in the US. I didn't have a camera both occasions so no pics. I DID, however, see Karan Johar at the airport in Mumbai in July of '08. We were also on the same flight together, possibly on two flights actually--I went from Mumbai to London to Miami, and since Dostana was happening in Miami at that time, I'm assuming he was also on the London-Miami sector. We weren't allowed to go talk to him, but I did take a pic from my phone sooo:

He's the one in the brown coat. It's not a fantastic pic but it was from my phone, and I have no zoom capabilities! But I freaked out when I saw him; I LOVE THAT GUY!!!

-Holy cow! Pics of your favorite Indian Cinema Star? (I leave what this is up to you. Hee.)

This was that moment in DBH where he acts like SRK from DDLJ. I don't have a gif of this--if anyone does, please link--but the wink he gave at this point pretty much melted my heart.

I saw this pic before I saw the actual ceremony (it's from the Star Screen Awards), and I was VERY interested to know why he was patting his ass. I love this pic.

That's pretty much all. I hope you guys enjoyed this as much as I (evidently) did. Shahid. ♥

I saw Fardeen Khan at the airport too, right after his first movie came out! :)

Haha, nice! I saw him at the Hyderabad airport. Where did you see him? :)

I saw him at the Mumbai airport. My sister and I inadvertently caused a crowd to form, because we kept pointing and staring at him. Oops.

Love all the pics! I too almost fell of my chair Squeeing when he imitated SRK in DDLJ. Awesome stuff. :)

Okay, so why was he patting his butt?

I know, so did I! That was my favourite part of the movie.

If memory serves me correctly, I believe he was doing the "Tohfa kabool karo!" scene from 3 Idiots. Have you seen that movie? I should have just guessed when I saw the pic, honestly, but it didn't strike me at the time. ;)

Ah, I've not seen 3 Idiots, so I guess that is why I had no idea. Thanks for telling me though. :)

Still, it is a cute butt- so don't mind seein git. ;D

No problem! By the way, I totally recommend the movie. I know you've probably heard that a thousand times already, but it is definitely worth watching. You should give it a go! :) It's available online in great quality. :P

It is a veeery cute butt! ;)

Where is it available online? and does it have English subtitles? I saw it in theaters and really want to show my friends it. I LOVED the film!

Oh, I haven't found it online with English subtitles, sorry! I totally forgot about the English subtitles part when I replied to world_of_blade.

If you can download it via torrent though (google '3 Idiots torrent'), you can then google '3 Idiots English subtitles' and you'll get some results with subtitles files. I think if you put the movie file and the subtitles file in the same folder, your movie will play with the subtitles. The website where you download the subtitles from should have better instructions, though. :)

I hope you get through with it!

Here are some download links so you don't need to use torrents: http://ipb.quicksilverscreen.com/index.php?showtopic=186153

And once you've downloaded the movie, you can download the subtitles file. :) Try these:

http://www.opensubtitles.org/en/subtitles/3620620/3-idiots-en

http://www.rapidshare.net/tag/3-idiots-english-subtitles

I've not tested out any so I can't vouch for their quality. But you can find more if you google! :)

Sorry for late reply (everything is kinda chaotic here, between school and my school being the one with the school shooting, jeez what a mess!).

Thanks so much for the links! I appreciate it! I just remembered it was suppose to have an internet premiere, so I wasn't sure if you knew about it or not.

No problem! Hope it all gets sorted out soon :)

I didn't know about the Internet release, so I googled it. Vidhu Vinod Chopra said that there might be an Internet release, but it will be after a certain period of time so as not to affect theatre sales. Considering that 3 Idiots is still going strong at the box office, they might be waiting for even more time to release it online, or might have just disposed with the idea completely. So no, there's no legal copy of 3 Idiots available online, and I'm not even sure if it will be - the last news on this seems to be from December, nothing since.
