O.O I'm...done.
Holy effin' balls, I've never been done with all the anime I have before. This is not good. I need to go buy some more!! Guess I'll really have to go crazy this year at A-Kon. I already know I need Witch Hunter Robin and Samurai Champloo.... If anyone wants to get me a gift for my birfday on Feb 23rd (haha yeah right), I can hook you up with a suite eBay deal!!
But yeah, I finished my last series, Samurai Deeper Kyo, about twenty minutes ago. I was disappointed. :-( I expected more, especially out of an anime that is based largely on historical events, while still maintaining a cool fictional twist. Maybe I just expected too much Rurouni Kenshin out of it when that obviously wasn't the case, I dunno, but the point is, I'm glad I got it cheap because if I had paid more than the thirty dollars that I did, I'd want a refund. And considering I bought the series like six months ago off of eBay, I doubt that would be possible.
It's not that it was a bad series, and I did somewhat like it, it's just that out of the...::walks to the closet and counts::...eighteen complete series I have (ranging from 3 to 96 episodes long, most of which are 26) I enjoyed Samurai Deeper Kyo the least. :-/ Pains me to say that, I never thought I'd come across a disappointing anime. (There's a difference between one I didn't like and one I was disappointed with - namely in the expectations and knowing how good it COULD have been.) Oh well, can't please everyone, can they?

My mom effectively handed me a thousand dollars the other day. Dude, I have the coolest effin' mom EVAR.
