Okay so my car died at USF yesterday and a tow truck had to come and...sign you know. It is now at the shop awaiting a new fly wheel. I better have it back by Monday as I have a test that day but the mechanic told me not to hold my breath. My mom had to get a new car. Her's died on Superbowl Sunday (something about the head gasket) and the repairs would have been worht more than the car is worth. We've had it for 10 years so a nice 2003 BMW was well deserved. If my car is not ready for Monday, my mom told me I had to drive the BMW to school. I do not want to do this for a variety of reasons, but primarily because I am terrified of driving it. Not to mention what could happen to it in the parking lot at USF.

I applied for a job at USF in December. They called me back last week and we had an interview. It was not a bad interview, but they seemed a little surprised that I was still a student there (even though I mentioned that on my cover sheet). The interview exposed a little bit clearer how the USF library works and I must say I am impressed with my school in regards to the library. Parking, well, that is another issue. If I have to pay to go to school and pay to park on campus, why should I have to hear those crazy preachers in front of Cooper? Somebody mentioned freedom of speech and I think that's funny. Test your freedom of speech at TIA sometime; forget that four letter "B word" though. Prof. Ingle told us to call UP when the crazies began to insult people; something about harrassment. I am really tired of just hearing them yell, and I am just as tired of hearing people yell back at them. Really, what's the point? No one is going to change their mind in the course of an argument with these people. Save the energy for sex or something interesting. (Is that to say that sex isn't interesting?)

Aside from all of that, all seems to be going well. 17 credit hours this semester; I must hate myself. I am trying to figure out where I want to get my MLS at; it's either going to be at USF or Clarion in Pennsylvania. Ah, decisions decisions. Hey, another thing, the philosophy department really is harboring all of the attractive male professors at USF. I have had two substitutes in my Aristotle class and I could barely keep my eyes off of them. Where do we get these grad students from and can we get some more, please?
