*sigh* The new part did not fix my computer. Thus, I am still computerless. I finally managed to get online with a borrowed computer. I debated about postponing this challenge until after the New Year (due to the computer situation and with how busy I am sure everyone will be with the holidays), but I had already come up with a holiday themed challenge, and I didn't think that would work as well after the holidays. I'm just warning everyone that if you have questions, my Internet access will be spotty at best.
Well, the majority of people who voted in
the poll wanted a two part challenge, so we'll be doing that. Also, I figured I'd try special votes and see how that goes.
Part A: Christmas pictures from Malone vs. Malone
We already did Malone vs. Malone for Jack, so there was really only one picture I could use for him, but there were some great ones for the other characters. These pictures are all from The Source.

** You may submit three icons in this part for a total of six this week.
** You must use the pictures given, but you are free to use any textures, brushes, etc. that you would like.
** You may blend caps and/or animate this week.
** The special vote for this section will be best coloring, so keep that in mind when you are making your icons.
Part B: Style challenge (Hanukkah)
Okay, I realize that Hanukkah isn't a major holiday in the Jewish religion, but I figured if there was a Christmas component to the challenge, a Hanukkah part could be good as well. Anyway, the unofficial colors of Hanukkah are blue and white (
based off of the flag of Israel). Thus, this challenge is "blue". You may interpret that as you wish. If you want to be literal and have blue as the dominant color, you may do so. If you wish to be more figurative and use water or sadness or something else that works with blue, you may do that as well. If you have questions, please ask (but I don't guarantee a timely response.)
The Rules for this part
** You may submit three icons in this part for a total of six this week.
** You are free to use any pictures (picture sources can be found in the userinfo), textures, brushes, etc. that you would like. Just remember, the icon must somehow represent the idea "blue".
** You may blend caps and/or animate this week.
** The special vote for this section will be most creative, so keep that in mind when you are making your icons.
The Overall Rules
** You may submit six total icons this week (three for each part).
**Please submit your icons to this post, both the icon and the url please.
**Don't share your icons until voting is finished.
**Icons are due Sunday, December 24th by 10pm EST.
Here is that time converted to other time zones.
If you're new or just want a refresher, feel free to check out the
userinfo for a complete set of rules.

here.

here to make them.
Yes, the challenge ends on Christmas Eve. I figure people who have difficulty with that weekend can submit this weekend if they want to do so. If we get few entries or if some people have a major problem with that, I'll extend it a week; I just would prefer not to do so, as it's already two weeks.
