Challenge 61

Jun 18, 2006 01:48

I should probably do a picture challenge as the last was a find-your-own-picture challenge, but as not that many people entered and I had done two picture challenges before the last one, I decided to go for another theme.

A long time ago on the old donations post, _agent_spade_ suggested that a theme could be one in which the agents had their guns drawn. As I did a "guys with guns" challenge after Viuda Negra, I didn't want to do precisely that, however. So, I'm "borrowing" an idea from ncishush and doing a props challenge. That means that your icon has to have some kind of prop (gun, computer, cell phone, whatever) in it. Although it doesn't have to be the focus of the icon, it does have to be recognizably there (not obscured by coloring techniques or brushes or whathaveyou). If you have any questions about the validity of an icon, feel free to ask at any time. (RL is kicking my ass right now, so it might be better not to wait until the last minute to inquire, however, as I'm not reliably on the Internet nowadays. I will do my best to answer questions in a timely manner, though.)

The Rules
**You may submit three icons this week.
**You are free to use any pictures (picture sources can be found in the userinfo), textures, brushes, etc. that you would like.
**You may blend caps and/or animate this week (as long as the prop is a definite presence).
**Please submit your icons to this post, both the icon and the url please.
**Don't share your icons until voting is finished.
**Icons are due Friday, June 30th by midnight EST. Here is that time converted to other time zones.

If you're new or just want a refresher, you can check out the userinfo for a complete set of rules.

If you need any help with entering the challenge there is a tutorial here.

And again, if you have any suggestions, please visit here to make them.

Have fun!

And if you have yet to vote for the header/icon challenge, please do so. All of the sets have multiple votes, and three sets are neck and neck, so every vote counts. Plus, I would love to get as much input from community members as possible, as this will affect the look of the community for a long time to come. You may vote here. Thanks!
