My laptop, and Denny is the ripe old age of 29!

According to the heavily accented Toshiba Tech Dude, my DVD/CD burner is dead. My brother and his boss (both computer people) agree, after hearing the symptoms. It's under warranty, but wouldn't be back before I leave if I sent the Toshiba in. Mom and dad are working on a complicated plan to get it fixed in Phoenix, but I'm thinking I'd rather just buy an external for $60 on New Egg and extend my warranty on the laptop until after I get back from South Korea. There is a Toshiba center in South Korea (it would give me an excuse to go up to Seoul, The Big City) if I wanted to get it fixed there. It'd depend on the quality of English support at the repair center, methinks.

We had Denny's B-day at the Chinese place, AKA Jade Garden (as always, delicious). I gave him my motorcycle helmet which is a little too small (thank god - I would have had to kill him if his head was smaller than mine). Plus, he got my scooter for $500, which he'll pay me on Monday. Not bad for him, considering I probably could have sold it for $700 or $800 to someone else.
And man, Denny and Kristen made a baby with a big head. Rio's getting hefty, and her head is leading the way. Still a gorgeous baby, though. ;)
They're planning on having another baby soon. They're thinking they'll wait 3 months, then go for another kiddo. With Denny being the only source of income I don't know that it's a good idea, but Rio really will need a sibling close to her age or she'll get super spoiled.

I will miss my family. ;_;
