I was starting an entry when Mike came in my room and posted. I don't know anyone else who would us the term "Jesus on a Platter." I've never met anyone who is so obsessed with Jesus and not a Christian. He is a spiffy boy.
Anyway, I planned to start out with Wicked. It was absolutely amazing. I didn't expect to have the same quality as Broadway. The cast complimented each other very nicely. We watched the movie the day we went to see it. You forget a lot in that movie. It's nice to see how well the two fit together. Sometimes spin-offs have a tendency to go in their own direction, but Wicked is a great side story. At the end of the play I cried even though I knew what was going to happen.
There was an uber sweet thunderstorm on the way home. One flash of lightning completely crossed the sky in segments and lasted for at least 4 seconds.
I got up at 7AM the next day and went out to eat with Erin. I really didn't sleep a lot but it was worth it. We went to her house to run and chill out after. I saved a June bug that I named Juniper from drowning in her pool. I called Maggie (aka Magpie) and helped create a new friend for her from a mat, a t-shirt, Styrofoam, scotch tape and a sharpie. Believe it or not, it actually looked pretty good. She left me for the Great Lakes Relays and took her new friend with her.
That night was the premier of the Dark Night. It was so much more than I expected it to be. I'm not really the super hero kind of person, but I have no complaints. It was long. I thought it was going to end a few times when it didn't but I liked it all. I started to cry a little, not much at a point in the movie which made 2 days in a row that something made me cry.
I got home at like 3AM, fell asleep around 3:30 and got up a little before 8 for Warped tour. I ended up with about 9 hours of sleep in 2 days. Warped Tour was good, but way too long. We met Fred from The Color Fred and actually had the opportunity to talk to him which was mind blowing. He was crazy nice!!! We saw other bands as well but that was the highlight. We didn't get to see The Academy Is . . . because of conflicting times but I've seen them live twice now so it wasn't a big deal. I found out that I like at least 2 new bands and Jack's Mannequin was really good.
At the end I was getting kind of dizzy so I was pretty glad it was over. We had an amazing dinner: the Rolls from Texas Road House, A Jamocha shake from Arby's and Burger King. Delicious does not do that meal justice. At home Mike had his roommates over. He poured water on me and made it fairly obvious he did not want me there so Brian and I moved to the den. He was saying things that weren't even funny but I was so tired that I laughed. I laughed so hard that I cried for an extended period of time, which would make that the third time I cried at night in three days.
I had a really interesting few days. Other things I've spent my time doing was going to physical therapy. I actually met Ormsbee yesterday (a chiropractor that specializes in the field) and he told me that they are one of the biggest he as ever seen as well. It's quite an honor, the man has seen a lot of injuries. I may be buying a muscle stim machine for home. That might actually be pretty cool.
Tomorrow I am Pennsylvania bound. My dad is taking Brian and I. I am really, really excited.
